More On The Word Tonight

What's The Word Tonight? Meet Scott, Brent, Kai, Nickk, and Dylan, together forming pop rock band "The Word Tonight". With Their evil villain alias "Guttershark" left behind in the small towns they grew up in, TWT has moved, changed, and over all evolved in order to prove that they do in-fact have what it takes to make it in this music industry. The effort became evident when they were given the opportunity to appear on an episode of Much Music's disBAND, where they were put to the test by none other than Greig Nori, musical producer and front man of successful Canadian band Treble Charger.

During their quest on disBAND, Greig helped the boys make a smooth transition from hardcore tyrants to the new, diverse, and unique sound they have today. The end result? The Word Tonight. A sugary pop sound comprised of intricate rock melodies, Pumping electronica beats, and a hint of their hardcore roots to deliver a sound that's sure to please.

After their performance on disband, the boys relocated to the nations capital of Ottawa Ontario and has decided to continue with their new-found sound in order to fulfill their current aspirations. Being told that they were under the radar of Mark Spicoluk (Universal Music Canada), and Colin Lewis (The Agency Group), the band decided to push the envelope more than ever and are planning to release a hard hitting EP with producer Daniel Cinelli at Planet Studios in Montreal, QC.
