MuchMusic's breakout original series, DISBAND, returns to give more young, struggling artists rock star guidance and direct music industry exposure. The first season helped launch the careers of two bands – Stereos and Dean Lickyer – who both signed major label record deals.A new judging panel joins DISBAND Guru Greig Nori to mold young artists and assess their image, music, stage presence, and ultimate music industry potential.
This year, 13 unsigned bands will face the judges and be told whether they have what it takes to make it or whether they should disBAND. In the season finale, we'll use the input and votes from online fans to determine what band should get the MUCHMUSIC rockstar treatment and what bands will be left backstage.
