Chloe Rose as Katie Matlin
Chloe is thrilled to join Degrassi in its eleventh season, which marks her first project in television.
With a strong dedication to community service, Chloe is the director of the "The Do.Crew", a Toronto-based youth advocacy group that raises social awareness through annual campaigns. This year's campaign is an art exhibit at Toronto's "Nuit Blanche" festival that will highlight the importance of having potable water on First Nation reserves. In 2008 Chloe was nominated as a "TV Ontario Super Citizen" for her work with "The Do.Crew". When she is not lending her time to the community, Chloe is studying at the Etobicoke School of the Arts. If there were more hours in the day, Chloe would be spending them hiking, backpacking and swimming.
Katie Matlin
Katie works hard and plays hard. A gifted athlete, she's been training to make the National Under 17 Women's Soccer Team. She's pretty, but fresh-faced. Her years of mastering the bicycle kick kept her from learning how to cake on the make-up. She's driven and thorough when it comes to academics and extra-curriculars; she's blunt and direct when talking to other girls, even fun-loving BFF Marisol; but when it comes to talking to boys or about matters of the heart, she clams up. The soccer field prepared her for many things, but not love.

In its 31st year of making groundbreaking television for teens, Degrassi is giving fans even more to be excited about with four brand new episodes every week during the summer, Degrassi continues to push boundaries and make historic television for young teens. In season 11 new friendships are formed, old relationships are tested and rivalry among students reaches new levels.
