Bio
Musical theatre and ballet dancer Aislinn Paul is perfectly suited as the smart and sophisticated Clare.
Before joining Degrassi, Aislinn played Jamie Johnston's pre-teen sister, Hannah, in the television series Zoey Busiek: Wildcard. Aislinn also landed the part of Beth Ellen in the Disney remake of the Nickelodeon classic Harriet the Spy . Aislinn traveled to Ecuador with the Degrassi cast and the organization "Free The Children" in 2008. A documentary of Aislinn and her cast mates' trip aired on MTV in Canada. Aislinn traveled again in 2010 to build a school in India and a second documentary aired on MuchMusic. On a day off, Aislinn can be found practicing gymnastics, ice skating or enjoying a dip in the pool.

This year, Clare feels ready to focus - on Clare. Last year taught her that she has to look out for herself - and that it's OK if the person she's becoming doesn't jibe with everyone else's ideas of Clare Edwards.
