The call for a song here could have gone any way, from inspiring to desperate, as Anya failed at her first gym workout. This song popped up and was an instant hit – it turned the scene into a quirky moment where we got to laugh with Anya a little bit!

If there was ever a sports training montage song in our catalogs, this was it. The lyrics, coupled with the driving guitar all built up to victory and success and eventually Anya made it happen. Notice the contrast between this song and Princess. We aren’t laughing anymore.

A bunch of songs were pitched to this scene, but we were definitely hoping for this one to land, and it did. David Francey isn’t exactly Degrassi demographic, but we felt his lovely lyrics and soothing accent had to be heard and would be appreciated by the fans.
