Awkward.

Narrated in the first-person voice of Jenna's blog posts, "Awkward." captures the humor within the struggles and experiences everyone can relate to from their formative years. The series picks up in the aftermath of the accident as she must deal with a new not-so-fun stigma, while at the same time managing the other daily drama that comes with being a teenager. From a secret relationship with a popular guy, to being undermined by a mean girl, and parents who just don't get it-Jenna's misfortune will eventually serve as the catalyst for amazing change, but it's not without some missteps and mishaps along the way.

Sadie Saxton

Every high school has one: the rich, popular bitch. But unlike every other mean girl stereotype, Sadie's got some cushion for the pushin'... which means there's more to love -- or in her case, hate. Despite her popularity and power, Jenna senses that Sadie feels like she never measures up. Sadie makes excuses for her bad behavior because she feels entitled. She thinks the world owes her for having to suffer a fat gene. She has been given everything... except the perfect body. This complicates Sadie's secret desire: to be with Matty. Her fixation on being perfect and aspiring to be the apple of Matty's eyes will make her do anything to squash Jenna. And Jenna's a little scared because Sadie's the kind of girl that can throw down...hard.

Molly Tarlov
Molly Tarlov was born and raised in Manhattan, New York, as the younger of two daughters. She began her career at the age of 10 as Mrs. Peterson in a production of 'Bye Bye Birdie' at the Little Red School House that was very well received by a group of seventh graders. As she got older she spent her summers at Interlochen Center for the Arts and in Paris studying with NYU's Tisch. She trained in a range of acting styles and received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. She also studied at The Atlantic Theater Company and was able to incorporate writing into her acting at the LAByrinth Theater Master Class. She continues her writing as she immerses herself in acting and the crafts surrounding it. Molly traded in her black winter jacket for a pair of black sunglasses and made her way out to Los Angeles. She quickly landed a 3 word role on ' iCarly' which garnered a lot of attention from her parents. She has since done several television appearances and created the role of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman and Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family series 'Huge'. She is excited and honored to play Sadie Saxton in 'This Is Awkward'; secretly she's always wanted to be a cheerleader. Molly likes to think she's good at basketball even though she isn't. Her favorite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
