Watch B.o.B. and Nicki Minaj in ‘Out of My Mind’
B.o.B. teamed up with Nicki Minaj for his sophomore album Strange Clouds and released the mentally deranged track Out of My Mind. The video for the song, which constantly puts the mental state of both artists into question, features B.o.B. as a patient in a psychiatric hospital with Dr. Minaj as his physician.
With voluptuous nurses, hooded straight jackets and a stripping Dr. Minaj, the video matches the lyrical content about questionable mindframes to a tee. B.o.B. and Minaj go toe to toe in their rapid-fire delivery of rhymes, with B.o.B. showing his versatility from softer, radio-friendly tracks like Airplanes and his recent collaboration with Taylor Swift on Both Of Us.
B.o.B. told MTV that he was excited to work with Minja on the track, saying “I feel like Nicki definitely recognizes my musical talent or else she wouldn’t have referred to me as a heartthrob,” he said, laughing. “She definitely went ham. When I heard it, I was grinning from ear to ear. I was glad she brought it.”
