Quakers “Fitta Happier” (Video)

Though he’s known more as a pioneer of trip-hop, Portishead’s Geoff Barrow has recently been working on his 35-member hip-hop collective known as Quakers, whose members include Prince Po, Dead Prez, Aloe Blacc, Booty Brown (The Pharcyde) and many others.

Their latest video is for “Fitta Happier,” which has already received some attention for its use of the melody from Radiohead’s “The National Anthem,” performed, of course, by a rather wicked brass section. Stones Throw MCs Guilty Simpson and MED throw it down on the mic, literally.
