Top Dawg Entertainment and the Black Hippy collective are becoming a bona fide hip-hop powerhouse, similar to predecessors like G-Unit or Ruff Ryders. Kendrick Lamar is about to drop a bomb with Dr. Dre backing him up, amd ScHoolBoy Q is on a huge stage supporting A$AP Rocky and Danny Brown. They took some time to join Jay Rock and Ab-Soul to create the “Black Lip Bastard” remix. It’s a snapshot of the crew as they have truly begun their rise to prominence.
