Punk godfathers Bad Religion are back with their 14th (!) LP - and this time, they've got Queens Of The Stone Age producer Joe Barresi behind the boards - resulting in the best-sounding BR record yet. And that doesn't mean it isn't balls-to-the-wall 80s-style melodic punk - cause it totally is, and some of their best tunage ever. Witness the opening fuzzed-out blast of "52 Seconds" (a song that's 58 seconds long...they're punk rock even in their song lengths) leading into "Heroes & Martyrs" - a tuneful obliteration of rhetoric-obsessed relig-a-trons. The harmonies are classic BR and they bring energy that upstarts 20 years their junior can't match. And THAT, friends, is truly punk rock. Listen before you can buy it, right here!
