During a brief break in Blink 182's busy schedules, guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker have gotten together with DeLonge's old friend Dave Kennedy to form the band Box Car Racer.
Tom and Travis have shared that the influences for Box Car Racer include Refused, Fugazi, The Minutemen, Quicksand and Blink 182. "I don't want to be in a side project to be popular.
