All About Nathalie

This former Broadcast student from Edmonton has never wanted anything more than to be a VJ. She's upfront and honest and her style varies with her mood. The best concert she's ever been to was Janet (Miss Jackson if you're nasty), and she loves Mary J. Blige. She's a mother and a customer service rep, and has a wicked sense of humour. Check out her audition tape now and read her Q&A!

The Average

Nathalie

Hey what's good everybody? Hope you're doin fine.

Well let me start by saying, that being back home has been a blast! Everybody has shown me sooo much love and support. And I want to say thank you again, to all of you have supported and believed me. Some of you from day one I had your respect, others I had to grow on you - lol. And you know what that's all right because you see that I'm real. I'm just like one of your home girls, lol. So thank you. And now that the wild card episode has aired.

I'm gonna need your support and votes more than ever. From this point on there will be no more challenges and no more judges. It's all up to you Canada. You guys have the power to vote one - only one - of us who has been kicked to the curb lol, back into the game to be with the top 3. Which I know for some of you will be extremely difficult and for others...not so much lol. So I'm asking that you guys vote your home girl back in.

Even though I said "I'm not too sure how much I still want this."...because honestly sometimes it feels that way. Because imagine you're doing all these challenges for your dream job. Then you're told "too bad, so sad it's not gonna happen". And then you're told 'well it is gonna happen - you have another chance'...huh? Psychologically it's a trip. Believe me. But now that I'm back home I see things much more clear. I know I want this and always have. But my reason now has been altered a little bit. Before I wanted to be that real girl on TV who loves music and loves talking to interesting people someone who people can relate too. It's still that, it's just now I want to be the girl who represents minorities of all kinds.

I want another young girl who is black, Chinese, East Indian, Spanish, what have you and say "huh?...if she can do it, so can I" and you know what? Damn right you can! I also want to be the girl who represents the average woman. These skinny bitches lol... (sorry for the cussing lol) is not the average woman. And you know what, I'm not hating on you if you're skinny. I used to be, but then I had a baby and now the rest is history lol. But for real I'm a plus size woman (who represents it well I might add lol) that is the average. I'm a single mom holding it down (respect to all my single mamas). That is the average.

I just want to give the average girl/woman the chance to see that you can make it far in an industry that is all about size and beauty. Even if I'm just in the top four and don't win. I won...because that's one step closer. So I know you guys have a hard job ahead of you, but ultimately I know you'll pick the right person who you feel deserves it. Because out of all 6 of us I know there will not be a wrong person chosen. Good luck guys. And see ya around.

Nuff respect and Luv
One!
