2004 Recap

Possibly the most action-packed MMVAs ev-er, 2004 chewed things up into amazing chunks of glory and then spit everything out to make one massive, sweaty party. The Beastie Boys displayed their skewed fashion sense on the red carpet and then kicked the show off with authority. Billy Talent unleashed fury and spittle to the masses while FeFe Dobson and Evanescence waited on the sidelines to excite the gargantuan crowd with their on-stage antics. Not to be outdone, Hilary Duff, Simple Plan and Hoobastank made sure that nobody went home without having been rocked solid. Hot on the heels of her ass kicking performance in Kill Bill, Vivica A. Fox was in the house to drop some jaws while Kanye West brought out a rousing rendition of "Jesus Walks". It was frantic, it was insanity - and it was magnificent.
