Things got a little loopy for the 1993 Canadian Music Video Awards. For one thing, there was this random brass band that would come in and out of the action every once and awhile. Hulk Hogan dropped in on Neil Young to give him an award - or he pretended to, through the wonders of clever editing. And creepy clowns from the Cirque Du Soleil explained the regulations of Canadian programming. Yes, back then we really knew how to party. Jann Arden, Roch Voisine and Moxy Fruvous performed some boppy ditties as well as more Canadian groups like Svengali, Pure, 13 Engines and JJ John James and the Mothers of Hope. Don't worry if you've never heard of them, they were cool.
