St. Catharines, Ontario's finest are busy guys - Wade's releasing his Black Lungs project's debut soon and Dallas just released a City & Colour live album...but they've still got time to bust out some rawk for the biggest party in the land!
Maroon 5
These California popstars have a lot to smile about in '07 – their five-years-in-the-making sophomore album is pretty much a winner among critics AND "Makes Me Wonder" is a monster single, making it to #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Oh and most importantly, Adam Levine is still a hottie.
Belly
4x nominated, Belly is poised to take up the mantle of "Next Great Hip Hop Hope" in Canada. Hot videos (see "Pressure" f. Ginuwine) and underground buzz made him an obvious choice as a performer at MMVA07!
The Used
It ain't no dumb luck that Bert & Co. have TWO U.S. platinum records under their belt - and a new one "Lies For The Liars" out now; they belt out some epic punk anthems, they do. And these nominated bad boys will do it for YOU on the MMVA07 telecast/webcast!
Finger Eleven
Rock stalwarts Finger 11 last rocked the big show in 2004. With the success of their latest record "Them vs. You vs. Me" and its dancey single "Paralyzer", they're light-years beyond their Rainbow Butt-Monkeyed origins, but still making waves.
Nickelback
Albertan rock heavyweights Nickelback have been busy contemplating how to follow up their 2005 juggernaut “All The Right Reasons”. Its followup could very well be in your hands later this year if everything goes to plan. Catch Chad & co. live at the MMVAs!

Mister Jay takes some time off his duties as host of Canada's Next Top Model to hand over a different kind of trophy - an MMVA! Fierce.
Sean Avery (New York Rangers)
Pickering, Ontario's Avery, linked romantically with the uber-hot Elisha Cuthbert, was a major reason why his team made it to the NHL post-season this year. He'll be skating down the red carpet at MMVA07!

Snarling punks? Lovable scoundrels? Yes. SUM 41 will bring their patented brand of mischief and mayhem to MMVA07 as they gear up for the release of their new album "Underclass Hero"!
Chris Bosh (Toronto Raptors)
Leading the Raps to their first post-season since Vince Carter's departure, he's a towering presence and an inspiring leader - his quiet demeanour and tireless charity work speaks volumes about the man. Bosh'll be ballin' it down the red carpet at MMVA07!
Marianas Trench
You proved your pumpedness about Marianas Trench in ’07, and now they’re coming to the MMVAs – it’s true! The Vancouver pop punkers have steadily been invading stereos across Canada with their infectious tunes, and now you can catch them live at Canada’s biggest party!
Amber Tamblyn
She was Joan of Arcadia, a wearer of Travelling Pants and cursed in The Grudge 2. She's got 5 upcoming movies and she'll be here onstage at MMVA07!
Hedley
Along with Fergie and Avril, Hedley could very well be the wild card invitees at this year’s MMVAs – who knows what sorts of unpredictable antics they’ll pull this year! Look for a brand new album, “Famous Last Words” from the boys later this summer!
Kardinal Offishall
Kardi's a true hustler - rapper, producer, expert panelist for the most recent VJ Search series, and winner of three MMVAs in 2006! He rolled up in a firetruck last year - can he outdo himself in '07?
Sam Roberts
Juno-awarding winner Sam Roberts has come a long way since 2002’s hit “Brother Down”, with several charttopping rock anthems. The hirsute hottie will be making an appearance at this year’s MMVAs – will he be sporting a beard or won’t he? Only time will tell!
