Ch-check it out! Much HQ is being transformed into the ultimate party palace, our VJs are busy rehearsing and the guests are putting the final touches on their outfits.
Fame is the ultimate award show accessory, but that won't stop Kanye West from pairing his celeb status with a lil' bling bling. The College Dropout is said to be designing a new line of Jesus-themed, diamond-encrusted jewelry. Listen for shouts of 'Hallelujah' from the red carpet.
The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins must have shouted out to a higher power during a recent delicate body piercing (no, not in his ears...lower). The falsetto-singing, spandex-loving rocker has recovered from recent throat surgery (and the piercing) and will be on hand to give out some hardware. 
Beastie Boys will ignite the MMVA stage with tunes from their latest album 'To The 5 Boroughs.' The disc is a politically fuelled rhyme brouhaha, but the b-boys haven't lost their sense of humour. In an interview with MuchNews, Adrock commented, "You see the newsstands and it says that 92 billion dollars was spent on military defense funds for a war in Iraq. How could you forget that and get to the studio and write 'today I farted'? Then sometimes you fart all the way over to the studio and it is really funny."
Our favourite MMVA-mooner Avril Lavigne will be stopping by the show again this year. No word on whether she plans on topping her butt-baring stunt from last year (do they make MMVA nipple shields?).We can't wait to watch singer/actress Christina Milian 'dip it low' down the red carpet. Miss Milian has collaborated with a bunch of hip-hop heavyweights like Joe Budden - whom she met at a Kanye West party. Has she ever considered crossing over into the pop-punk world? What about a jam with fellow Waldorf, Maryland native Joel Madden from Good Charlotte? We'll get Kanye to do the introductions at the MMVA after-party. That is if Joel's not too busy partying with his Warped Tour mates Simple Plan and Billy Talent.
The talented Miss Amy Lee and her Evanescence boys will be feeling festive at the MMVA after-bash. They'll be reunited with former opening act Finger Eleven and get acquainted with upcoming tour mates Three Days Grace.
Fefe Dobson might want to get acquainted with Saturday morning show vet Hilary Duff during the bash. The Dobster will be appearing in upcoming episodes of the new Saturday morning TV show 'The Menu.' Will Hilary's sister Haylie be joining her at MMVA 04? Our lips are sealed.
It's no secret that we can't get enough of the Hoobastank hit 'The Reason.' We might send Ed The Sock backstage to find out exactly what a 'hoobastank' is. Ed's not a perfect perrrrson…Good guy Sam Roberts and his horde of handsome hairy hunks are nominated for 8 MMVAs. The boys recently worked on new ideas at The Tragically Hip's studio "The Bathouse" in Bath, Ontario. No word on whether the time in Bath included a shower and shave.
Nickelback's goateed guru Chad Kroeger and MC Kyprios will be representing the 'best' coast at MMVA 04. Hey, maybe the two could form a rap-rock duet called 'Kroeger & Kyprios'? On second thought...
Don't even think of missing a second of the MMVA red-carpet action or the big show! We never know which big name celebs are going to pop out of a limo...or walk up to the party with beer and hot dogs (Sum 41 we're looking at you!)
