We loved watching Beastie Boys shake their rumps down the red carpet – but what was with their wardrobe? Jenn Hollett told us that b-boy MCA hit Toronto’s thrift shops in Kensington Market and picked up the outfits, which we may also see in an upcoming Beastie Boys video. Speaking of fly threads – did you see Rick Campanelli's Avril Lavigne t-shirt? Rumour has it that Hilary Duff's "people" weren’t too impressed with it. As for Hilary herself, she said that she was looking forward to meeting Avril and ending the media-heightened feud between them. The two might not have had a chance to meet, as Avril was busy hangin' in her green room with her boy Deryck Whibley from SUM 41 and Hils was chillin' with her man Joel Madden from Good Charlotte.
Kanye West popped out of his green room long enough to rock out to Miss Fefe Dobson's performance. Not only did he dance along – he also knew all of the words! Another big Fefe-fan is our very own VJ Devon Soltendieck – the two rocked the dance floor with friends at the after-party. Want to rock out to all the performances from the night? VJ Sarah Taylor made it to the after party, but she almost didn't make it onstage for the final farewell of the night! The super-tight security team thought she was one of the frenzied fans from the parking lot audience and tried to keep her from hitting the stage! Wish you were at the party too? From the red carpet to the red hot performances to the red faced crowd that filled Much HQ and the surrounding streets, a good time was had by all. We can't wait to do it again next year!
