This weekend marks the final stop on the Mountain Dew® Do Awesome Tour, at Winsport Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.
The posse at Mountain Dew® have hooked up a wild ride for us, kicking it off with a massive rail jam in Toronto, and then spreading the love at hills across the country. Thanks for the fun, guys!
To send us off in fine style, #DoAwesome’s Evan suggests how to alleviate the sadness once the snow goes away.
Well, you've come this far... you've made it through the winter! Unfortunately, the winter didn't last that long (unless where you are there's still snow, then... curse you!). So, what the heck is one to do when the snow’s all gone?
HIT A PATIO
You would've sat outside of the chalet anyway, right? Apres-ski has become apres-anything. There's no reason why you can't do this downtown.
FAKE AND BAKE
You can go tanning now without getting that annoying goggle tan! Easy.
Duh! Obviously. You can't snowboard? You go skateboarding. Note: Cement isn't as forgiving as snow. Ever.
SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND SNOW
Travel to a place where there is snowboarding. Yep, people do this. Airplanes will even take you there. Don't put your equipment in storage just yet.
LIQUIDATE ON CRAIGSLIST
Sell your snowboard stuff! Well, it's going to be a good 8 months before you even need to look at it. Why not sell it and buy something else? A new yacht?
LAST, BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST
Go skateboarding. Did I mention that already? Oh. Anyway. Go!
